안산시, 경기 경제자유구역 사동(ASV) 지구 추가지정

경기경제자유구역청이 주관하는 이번 의견 청취는 산업통상자원부에 경제자유구역을 신청하기 전 실시하는 법적 절차다.

경기경제자유구역 안산 사동(ASV)지구 추가지정에 대한 주민 의견 청취 열람은 경기경제자유구역청 개발과와 안산시 도시계획과에서 오는 20일까지진행된다.

주민들은 열람 장소에 비치된 경기경제자유구역 추가지정을 위한 개발계획변경(안)보고서와 관련 도면을 통해 ▲안산 사동(ASV) 지구 1.66㎢(약 50만 평)에 대한 토지이용계획과 핵심 전략사업인 첨단로봇·제조 산업의 사업 육성계획, 국제학교유치계획을 포함한 개발 계획 등을 열람할 수 있다.

시는 경제자유구역 지정을 통해 기존 ASV(안산사이언스밸리) 산학연클러스터를 반월·시화국가산업단지 디지털 전환(DX)과 연계한 ‘글로벌 첨단로봇 혁신생태계’로확장해 글로벌 첨단 기업도시로 발돋움하고 산업부의 지상과제인 3대 로봇 강국 도약에도 앞장선다는 방침이다.

사동(ASV)지구의 경제자유구역 지정에 총력을 기울이고 있는 안산시는 이번 절차가 경제자유구역 추진에 대한 주민들의 궁금증을 해소하고 추가지정을 위한 마중물이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
