수원시, 제25회 사회복지의 날 기념행사 ‘새빛 웰페어 페스타’ 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시가 6일 광교호수공원 마당극장에서 제25회 사회복지의 날 기념행사 ‘새빛 웰페어 페스타’를 개최했다.

수원시가 주최하고 수원시사회복지협의회·수원시사회복자사협회·수원시지역사회보장협의체가 공동주관한 제25회 사회복지의 날(9월 7일) 기념식은 사회복지의 날 기념 유공 표창 수여, 이재준 수원시장의 영상메시지, 김현수 수원시 제1부시장의 격려사, 사회복지사업 윤리선언문 낭독, 문화 공연 등으로 진행됐다.

수원특례시장 표창(사회복지발전유공, 민관협력유공, 나눔유공) 23명, 수원특례시의회 의장 표창 3명, 사회복지협의회·사회복지사협회 표창 10명 등 총 36명에게 사회복지의 날 기념 유공 표창을 수여했다.

사회복지기관들은 사회복지사업 홍보·체험 부스를 운영하고, 시민과 함께 복지사각지대를 발굴하는 앱인 ‘복지위기알림앱’을 홍보했다. 사회복지 현장 사진을 전시하는 사진전도 열렸다.

김현수 제1부시장은 격려사에서 “보이지 않는 곳에서 묵묵히 애써주신 사회복지인들게 감사드린다”며 “사회복지인과 시민이 모두 행복한 수원시가 되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
