[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시가 ‘골목형상점가’를 지정을 확대하고 집중 육성에 나선다.
9일 시에 따르면 지난 4월 ‘용인시 전통시장 및 상점가 육성을 위한 조례’ 가 일부 개정되면서 골목형 상점가 지정 기준이 상업지역의 경우 2000㎡ 이내 소상공인 점포 25개 이상, 상업지역 외 지역 2000㎡ 이내 소상공인 점포 20개 이상으로 완화되면서 지정 요건을 충족하는 지역이 늘어난 데 따른 것이다.
골목형상점가는 소상공인이 운영하는 점포가 일정 수준 이상으로 밀집해 있는 구역으로 전통시장이나 상점가와 마찬가지로 온누리상품권 가맹등록과 상권 환경개선 및 활성화 지원사업 참여 등의 혜택을 받는다.
지난해 12월 상점가로 등록된 어정가구단지의 경우 상점가 등록 7개월여 만에 온누리상품권 매출이 70억원으로 크게 늘어 경기도 내에서 3위를 달성하기도 했다.
시는 온누리상품권 가맹점 등록이 고객 유입 증가와 매출 증대에 큰 도움이 되는 만큼 골목형상점가 지정을 늘리겠다는 취지다.
시는 보정, 풍덕천1동, 둔전 등 10개 골목상권에 현장 조사를 통해 구획설정과 상권조사가 완료된 8개 상권에 대해 2025년 상반기 내 골목형상점가 지정을 추진할 예정이다.
시는 지역 상인회와 협력해 구역 내 점포들의 관심을 높이고 지원 혜택 등에 대해 자세히 알 수 있도록 지역 상인회와 협력해 현장 컨설팅과 홍보를 강화할 방침이다. 또 골목형상점가 활성화 예산 지원 등 인센티브 부여 방안과 원스톱 지원 체계 구축 등을 검토하고 있다.
