[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 삼성전자 DS부문과 평택시, 경기사회복지공동모금회는 지난 6일 야곱의 집에서 친환경 차량 전달식을 진행했다.
이날 전달식에는 한국장애인부모회평택지부, 야곱의 집, 아름드리나무장애인공동생활가정, 환타지아 양로원, 평택합정재가노인지원센터, LH행복꿈터누림지역아동센터 등 6개 선정기관이 함께 참석했다.
‘친환경 차량 사업’은 삼성전자 DS부문 임직원들이 자발적으로 참여하는 ‘사랑의 걷기’ 캠페인을 통해 모인 기부금으로 친환경 차량을 구입해 공모로 선정된 각 기관에 전달하는 사업이다.
지역 내 사회복지기관들의 이동 편의 증진, 친환경 차량 지원을 통한 대기환경 개선에 기여하고자 2022년 삼성전자 DS부문과 평택시, 경기사회복지공동모금회가 업무협약을 체결해 올해로 2년째 지원되고 있다.
야곱의 집 유순자 원장은 “의미있게 모인 성금으로 차량을 지원해주셔서 감사드리며, 오늘 전달 받은 차량은 지역사회 복지향상을 위해 유용하게 활용하고 관리하도록 하겠다”고 전했다.
