[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥시가 오는 9월 9일부터 9월 25일까지 ‘시흥시 문화예술회관(가칭)’의 정식 명칭을 공모한다.
새로 건립 중인 시흥시 문화예술회관(가칭)은 시흥시 서울대학로 255 일원에 위치하며, 지하 1층, 지상 4층 규모로 설계됐다. 이 복합문화시설은 710석의 대공연장과 301석의 소공연장, 뮤지컬.오페라 등의 리허설이 가능한 연습실, 전시실 등 다양한 문화시설을 갖추게 된다. 내년 준공과 개관을 목표로 현재 공사가 23% 정도 진행된 상태다.
