경기주택도시공사, 다산신도시 미금로 확장사업

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기주택도시공사가 다산신도시의 관문도로인 미금로의 차로 확장 승인을 받았다.

10일 미금로의 차로 확장(2차로→4차로)을 국토교통부의 승인을 받았다고 밝혔다.

다산신도시의 주요 진출입 도로인 미금로는 왕복 2차로의 협소한 도로로 상습적인 교통정체 및 병목현상으로 교통 민원이 많았던 곳이다.

최근 다산신도시의 입주로 교통량이 크게 증가하면서 차로 확장등 개선 대책이시급한 상황이었다.

다산신도시 사업시행자인 GH는 남양주시 등 관계기관과 재원 분담 방안 및 사업추진체계 구축을 위한 수차례의 실무협의를 거쳐 광역교통 개선대책의 일환으로 미금로 확장사업을 내놓았다.

앞으로 3기 신도시 사업에서도 개발만하고 빠져 나가는 빌더(Builder)가 아니라 사업 마무리 단계에서도 사업시행자로서 지역 주민의 목소리를 경청하고 불편을 적극 해결하는 타운매니져(Town Manager) 역할을 다하겠다고 GH측은 전했다.
