시는 지난해 4월 양지동 제3공영주차장 우측 법면 유실을 확인해 좌·우측법면에 대한 안전 점검 및 실시설계 용역을 실시했다.
좌측 법면도 안전율 미충족으로추가 보강이 필요하다는 용역 결과에 따라 지난 11월 좌측 법면 보강을 위한 실시설계를 완료하고 올해 3월부터 양측법면에 대한 보강공사를 진행했다.
주차장 법면에 대한 안전성 확보를 위해 법면 토사 및 낙석 등을 제거한 후 계단식 옹벽 12단 및 기대기 옹벽(L=95.5m, H=1~5.5m) 설치를 지난달에 완료해 주차장 법면에 대한 보강공사를 12일 최종 마무리했다.
성남시 관계자는 “공영주차장 인근 주민들의 협조로 공사를 단기간에 마무리할 수 있었다”라며 “앞으로도 시민들이 공영주차장을 안전하게 이용할 수 있도록최선의 노력을 기울이겠다”고 전했다.
