[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시는 안전한 작업환경조성과 산업재해 발생 예방을 위한 2024년 정기 위험성평가를 실시한다.
위험성평가는 사업주가 사업장 내 유해·위험 요인을 사전에 파악해 위험성을 결정한 후 감소 대책을 실행함으로 사고를 미리 막는 안전한 작업환경 조성을 목적으로 하는 과정이다.
이번 위험성평가는 시 소속 현업근로자 근무 사업장(146개)을 대상으로 자체적으로 실시되며, 사업장 유해·위험 요인 발굴·개선, 사업장 방문 지도·조언, 중대산업재해 예방 의무 이행 점검 등을 9월 10일부터 10월 25일까지 진행할 예정이다.
위험성평가 실시에 앞서 평가 담당자인 현업업무 관리감독자(팀장) 146명을 대상으로 지난 10일과 12일 평택시청 대회의실 등 3개소에서 사전교육을 진행했다.
사전교육은 평택시 안전관리자가 강사로 나서 위험성평가에 대한 이해를 돕고 각 사업장에서 실질적으로 위험성평가를 실시할 수 있는 역량을 강화하는 것에 중점을 두었다.
시 관계자는 “우리시는 모든 사업장이 위험성평가 중심의 자기규율 예방체계를 확립할 수 있도록 지원할 예정이며, 시 소속 근로자의 안전한 작업환경 조성 및 산업재해 예방을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
