[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시 수지구 풍덕천1동은 지역 주민 이순희 씨가 이웃돕기 성금 1000만원을 전달했다고 12일 밝혔다.
올해 76세인 이순희 씨는 요양보호사로 일하면서 모아온 급여로 작년에 이어 올해도 성금 1000만원을 기탁했다. 부녀회원으로도 활동하고 있는 이 씨는 복지사각지대 발굴 등 지역사회를 위한 봉사활동에도 활발히 참여하고 있다.
이 씨는 “일할 수 있음에 감사한 마음과 지역사회에 도움을 주고 싶다는 생각으로 기부를 결심했다”며 “어려운 여건에서도 꿈을 이루고자 학업에 매진하는 학생들에게 보탬이 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
