[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시가 '시민헌장 작성 워크숍'을 12일 개최했다.
이번 워크숍은 특례시민으로서의 새로운 정체성을 확립하고, 시민들의 참여를 통해 ‘시민의, 시민에 의한, 시민을 위한' 헌장을 제정하기 위해 마련됐다.
워크숍은 한경국립대학교 이원희 총장의 ‘특례시 출범에 따른 시민헌장 제정 방안' 특강을 시작으로, 그룹 토의 및 헌장 초안 작성, 핵심 키워드 교육, 조문 작성, 작성안 발표 및 공유 순으로 진행됐다.
시는 워크숍 결과를 바탕으로 시민헌장 초안을 검토하고 전문가 의견을 수렴하여 최종안을 확정해 조례를 제정할 계획이다.
이진수 특례시추진단장은 “시민헌장 작성 워크숍은 단순한 행사가 아닌 우리 모두가 함께 만들어가는 특별한 이야기의 시작”이라며, “특례시민으로서의 자긍심을 높이고 서로 존중하며 함께 성장하는 아름다운 공동체를 만들어가는 소중한 시간이 될 것”이라고 말했다.
한편, 최종 확정된 시민헌장은 2025년 1월 3일 화성특례시 출범식에서 선포될 예정이다.
