화성시, 치매관리사업 협약 체결

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 주택관리공단 경기지사와 치매관리사업 업무 협약을 체결했다.

이 자리에는 지난 7월 치매극복선도단체로 지정된 동부지역 주공아파트 관리사무소 3개소(화성태안 6,8,12단지) 관리소장도 함께 했다.

‘치매극복선도단체’란 치매에 대한 부정적인 인식을 개선하고 치매환자와 가족이 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 치매친화적 사회문화 조성을 돕는 단체를 말한다.

주택관리공단 경기지사에서 열린 협약식에는 주택관리공단 경기지사장, 치매극복선도단체로 지정된 관리사무소장, 화성시동부보건소장 등 양 기관의 주요 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 13일 진행됐다.

이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 ▲치매의 조기발견과 예방 활동을 위한 상호협조 ▲치매안전망 구축을 위한 지속적인 협력 ▲치매관리사업 지역사회 자원연계 및 정보 공유 등을 추진할 계획이다.

또한 화성시동부보건소는 지역주민의 치매 예방을 위해 관련 정보와 자원을 공유하고 치매예방활동에 적극적으로 주택관리공단과 상호협력 체계를 구축할 계획이다.

김연희 화성시동부보건소장은 “이번 협약을 통해 지역사회가 치매에 대해 더욱 관심을 가지고 치매 환자와 가족들이 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 환경 조성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.

이어, 모희택 주택관리공단 경기지사장은 “지역주민과의 협력을 강화해 지속 가능한 치매관리체계를 구축하는데 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.
