[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 경기평택항만공사는 13일 평택해양경찰서와 합동으로 안심운항 해양사고예방 캠페인을 실시했다.
경기 화성시에 위치한 제부마리나에서 실시한 이번 캠페인은 레저선박해양사고예방을 위해 낚시 성수기가 도래함에 따라 레저선박의 출항 수요가 증가하고 이에 따른 해양사고가 빈번하게 발생할 것으로 우려되어 이를 예방하고자 무상점검 및 안전캠페인 활동 진행소식을 전했다.
참여대상은 선외기 또는 선내기 계통의 레저선박 보유자로 9월 13일 오전 6시부터 오후 2시까지 제부마리나 육상 및 수상계류장에서 진행하였으며 총 30척이 참여했다.
점검항목은 엔진오일, 연료필터, 배터리, 냉각라인, 통신장비 등으로 구성되었으며, 평택해양경찰과 함께 출항 전 안전수칙을 이용객들에게 홍보했다.
경기평택항만공사 김석구 사장은 “안심운항 해양사고예방 캠페인과 레저선박 무상점검을 통해 해양사고를 예방하고, 안전 의식을 강화하여 더욱 건강한 해양레저로 발돋움할 수 있는 계기가 될것으로 기대된다”며 “앞으로도 안전한 해양레저문화가 확산과 더불어 안전사고 예방을 위해 공사의 사회적 역할과 책임을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
