기흥구 중동 동백호수공원에서 열린 ‘Fall In Love with 7080' 콘서트 현장을 찾은 이 시장은 축사에서 “프랑스 속담에 ‘맛있는 와인은 무더운 여름이 있기에 마실 수 있다’는 말이 있는데 더운 여름이 지나고 풍요로운 수확의 계절과 함께 한가위가 다가왔다”며 “한가위 명절에 가족, 친지, 이웃 등과 함께 행복한 시간 많이 보내시기 바란다”고 말했다.
이 시장은 이어 “제가 이사장으로 있는 용인문화재단은 용인 곳곳에서 문화예술 공연이 활발하게 진행될 수 있도록 ‘우리 동네 구석구석’이라는 프로그램을 운영하고 있는데 올해 코리안오페라단이 이 프로그램 공모에서 선정돼 오늘 공연이 마련됐다”며 “좋은 곡들이 많이 준비되어 있는데, 명곡을 들으며 힐링하시고 음악 사랑에 빠져 보시라”고 했다.
이날 행사는 용인문화재단의 문화예술 공모 지원사업을 통해 마련된 것으로 코리안오페라단이 주최했다.
코리안오페라단의 정나리 단장이 사회를 맡아 뮤지컬 배우 문채원, 테너 하세훈·박병준, 바리톤 김종우·황중철 씨가 감미로운 목소리로 멋진 무대를 선사했다.
뮤지컬 시카고 삽입곡인 ‘ALL THAT Jazz’, 지킬 앤 하이드로 잘 알려진 ‘지금 이 순간’, 팝송 명곡 ‘My Way’, ‘사람이 꽃보다 아름다워’, ‘바람의 노래’, ‘어느 60대 노부부 이야기’, ‘인연’, ‘서른즈음에’ 등의 명곡이 동백호수공원의 저녁을 수 놓았다.
