[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 경남경찰청은 9일부터 18일까지 추석명절 특별치안대책을 추진한 결과, 112신고는 전년도 추석 대비 일 평균 5.6% 증가하였으나, 교통사고는 46.8%, 사망사고는 75% 크게 감소하는 등 대형 사건사고 없이 전반적으로 안정적인 치안을 유지했다고 19일 밝혔다.

특히 정부의 ‘추석명절 비상응급 대응 주간 운영’에 맞춰 도내 권역·지역응급의료센터 34개소에 대해 기동순찰대를 배치하여 가시적 순찰을 강화하는 등 응급의료체계 유지에 힘을 보탰다.
