체코를 공식 방문한 윤석열 대통령이 20일(현지시간) 페트르 피알라 체코 총리와 단독회담을 갖고 "전략적 동반자인 한·체코가 앞으로 백년을 함께 내다보는 '원전 동맹'으로 거듭나길 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오후 체코 영빈관 리히텐슈타인 궁에서 피알라 총리와 회담을 가진 후 프라하 체코 정부청사에서 한 공동언론발표에서 "우리 기업의 두코바니 원전 사업 참여를 계기로 원전 건설을 넘어 공동 연구개발·인력 양성으로 이어지는 포괄적 원자력 협력을 제도화해 나가겠다"며 이같이 말했다.
대통령실에 따르면 양 정상은 이날 실천 방안으로 구체적 협력 추진 체계를 담은 '2025-2027년 행동 계획'을 채택한 가운데 이번 체코 방문으로 양국 정부 기관·기업 간 체결된 문서는 총 56건이다.
