[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 ‘2024년 경남도 친환경 생태농업육성 우수시군 평가’에서 우수기관에 선정됐다고 지난 23일 밝혔다.
친환경 생태농업육성 우수시군 평가는 경상남도에서 친환경농업 실천을 창의성으로 선도한 시·군에 수여하는 상으로 △친환경농산물 인증 면적 △친환경 교육 △소비촉진 △국·도비 예산 확보 등 지자체 노력을 정량적으로 평가하여 이루어진다.
거창군은 2030년까지 친환경농가 1,000호 육성을 목표로 설정하고, 올해 처음으로 20회 과정의 거창녹색농업대학 친환경농업학과를 신설했다. 또한, 친환경농업 직불금, 토양개량제, 유기질비료, 친환경 인증수수료 전액 지원, 생산·가공·유통 시설과 유기농업자재 지원 등 다양한 정책을 통해 친환경농업인 육성에 힘쓰고 있다.
