안산시, 불법 정당 현수막 집중단속

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산시는 현수막을 대상으로 집중 점검 및 단속을 실시한다.

이번 집중단속은 정당 현수막 설치 최소화를 위해 지난 1월 개정된 옥외광고물법규정에도 불구하고 지속해서 법규를 위반해 온 정당 현수막에 대해 10월 한 달간 집중적으로 실시된다.

그간 무분별하게 설치된 정당 현수막으로 인해 시민 안전 위협과 통행 불편 등 민원이 제기되면서 집중적인 정비의 필요성이 제기돼 왔다.

시는 구별 집중 단속반을 편성하고 시민들의 안전을 위협하는 주요 사거리, 어린이 보호구역, 소방시설 주변 설치 금지구역 등에 설치된 현수막을 집중적으로단속할 예정이다.

아울러, 수량 초과(동별 2개), 표시기간(15일)을 위반하는 경우에도 현장에서 즉시 단속하고, 글자 크기(5㎝) 등 설치 규격 미준수는 각 정당에 계고 조치할 계획이다.

이민근 안산시장은 “언제나 시민 안전을 최우선으로 보행자의 불편을 최소화할 수 있도록 거리환경 조성을 위해 노력할 것”이라고 말했다.
