대통령실이 10일(현지시간) 최근 북한의 헌법 개정 관련해 "예상한 것보다 훨씬 소폭 개정이 이뤄졌다"고 밝혔다.
대통령실 관계자는 이날 아세안(ASEAN·동남아시아국가연합) 정상회의가 열리는 라오스 비엔티안 현지 프레스센터에서 취재진과 만나 '북한 개헌 관련 평가' 질의에 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 "이번 한 번 결과로 모든 게 끝났다 할 순 없다"면서도 "북한으로선 큰 변화를 공표했을 때 그에 따른 행동·책임이 있어야 하는데 연쇄작용에 대해 준비 안 된 게 아닌가 생각하고 있다"고 덧붙였다.
북한은 지난 7∼8일 최고인민회의에서 사회주의헌법 일부 내용을 개정했으나 김정은 북한 국무위원장이 지난 1월 지시한 영토 조항 반영·'통일' 표현 삭제 등 조치가 반영됐는지 여부를 공개않았다.
