브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 수명 증가와 부족한 노후대비로 경제 활동에 참여하는 시니어 세대가 늘어나는 가운데, 성인남녀 10명 중 9명은 은퇴 후에도 일을 하고 싶어하는 것으로 나타났다.
14일 사람인에 따르면 성인남녀 4056명을 대상으로 ‘정년 후 근로 의향’을 조사한 결과, 87.3%가 정년 이후에도 ‘계속 일하고 싶다’고 답했다.
연령대별로는 50대 이상에서는 대부분인 95.8%가 정년 이후 근로를 원했다. 이어 40대(81.9%), 30대(74.4%), 20대(65.8%) 순이었다.
정년을 넘어서도 은퇴하지 않고 일하려는 이유는 ‘연금, 저축만으로는 생계가 곤란할 것 같아서’가 58.6%로 1위였다. 다음으로 ‘추가 여유자금 마련을 위해서’(30.6%), ‘적당히 소일거리로 삼기 위해서’(29.3%), ‘부양을 계속해야 해서’(20.2%), ‘축적된 경험과 지식을 나누기 위해서’(19.1%), ‘사회적 지위를 유지하기 위해서’(11.6%) 등이었다.
