[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥시 이현준기자] 시흥시가 학부모 진로진학 아카데미를 성황리에 개최했다.

이번 행사는 10월 14일과 15일, 시흥시와 시흥진로체험지원센터, 시흥교육지원청과 공동 주최한 ‘2024년 시흥 교육도시로(路) 마을교육거점센터와의 협력으로 이뤄졌으며, 중학생과 학부모를 대상으로 변화하는 교육환경 속에서 진로와 진학에 대한 올바른 정보를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.

행사는 14일 시흥시청 늠내홀에서 열린 ‘고교학점제, 달라지는 고등학교 생활과 대입’을 주제로 한 강연과 15일 서울대 시흥캠퍼스 교육협력동에서 열리는 ‘변화하는 교육환경과 대학입시’ 강연으로 구성됐다. 두 강연에는 400여 명의 중학생과 학부모가 참여할 예정으로 관심이 매우 높다.

강연 후에는 현장과 연계한 1대1 진로진학 맞춤형 컨설팅이 진행됐다. 시흥대입진로진학리더 교사 10여 명이 사전 신청한 120명의 학생과 학부모를 대상으로 상담을 제공했으며, 현장경험이 풍부하고 관내 학생들을 누구보다 잘 이해하는 시흥진로교사들의 전문적인 정보분석과 정교한 조언이 학부모들에게 큰 만족을 안겼다.
