윤석열 대통령과 한동훈 국민의힘 대표가 21일 오후 회동을 갖고 1시간 20분간 주요 현안 관련 논의를 가졌다.
윤 대통령과 한 대표는 이날 오후 예정된 시간 보다 늦게 용산 대통령실 앞 야외정원 파인그라스에서 만나 정국 이슈를 비롯 주요 민생 현안에 대한 의견을 나눴다고 대통령실은 전했다.

윤 대통령은 "경찰 영웅은 몇십 년이 지나도 잊지 않는다란 걸 보여준 것"이라며 과거 간첩 추적 과정서 순직한 경찰 영웅들에 대해 설명했다.
또 데이비드 라미 영국 외교장관과의 접견 등으로 당초 예정 시간 보다 늦게 시작된 걸 설명 후 마르크 뤼터 나토(NATO·북대서양조약기구) 사무총장과의 전화 통화 사실도 알렸다.
윤 대통령은 이후 파인그라스 내부로 이동해 자리에 앉으며 "우리 한동훈 대표.."라고 말하며 친근감을 표했다.
