제19차 G20(주요 20개국) 정상회의 참석차 브라질을 방문한 윤석열 대통령이 19일(현지시간) 나렌드라 모디 인도 총리에게 "양국 파트너십을 내년에도 계속 발전시켜 나가길 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오전 G20 정상회의 참석을 위해 방문 중인 리우데자네이루에서 '엑스'(X·옛 트위터)'를 통해 "총리님을 다시 만나 반가웠다"며 이같이 적었다.
앞서 모디 총리도 '엑스'를 통해 윤 대통령을 언급 후 "리우 G20 정상회의에서 윤 대통령님과 만나 반가웠다"고 적은 가운데 윤 대통령과 악수하며 인사하는 사진도 함께 게제했다.
양 정상은 G20 정상회의 공식 일정 첫날인 18일(현지시간) 회의가 열린 리우데자네이루 현대미술관에서 만나 인사를 나눈 바 있다.
