【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 월성원자력본부(본부장 김한성)는 겨울철 한파에 대비해 동경주지역 에너지 취약계층에 난방비 2,100만원을 지원했다고 22일 밝혔다.

이번 난방비 지원은 사회복지법인 해송을 통해 동경주지역 취약계층 70가구에 11월 말까지 가구별 30만원 상당의 난방유 및 연탄을 제공한다.
또한 지난 20일에는 경주시 양남면 석읍리 마을에 김한성 본부장 등 월성본부 직원 25명이 300장의 연탄을 손수 배달하며 따뜻한 마음을 전달했다.
김한성 본부장은 “지역 어려운 이웃들의 따뜻한 겨울나기에 도움이 되기를 바란다.”며, “다양한 사회공헌 활동으로 지역사회에 따뜻한 온기가 잘 전달될 수 있도록 지속적인 관심을 가지겠다.”고 말했다.
월성본부는 에너지 사각지대에 놓인 어려운 이웃들을 위해 난방비 지원 및 연탄배달 봉사뿐만 아니라 지역 저소득가정 밑반찬 배달, 사랑의 집수리, 김장 나누기 등 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 지속적으로 펼치고 있다.
