[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군이 경남도에서 실시한 2024년 산림자원분야 평가에서 조림부문 우수기관으로 선정됐다.

이번 평가에서 거창군은 경남도에서 내 최대 면적인 234ha에서 조림사업을 추진하며, 체계적 계획수립, 적극적인 사업추진, 보도자료 홍보 활동에서 높은 점수를 받았다.

군은 앞서 산림청이 주관한 ‘우리가 키운 우수조림지’ 평가에서도 ‘우수’기관으로 선정되며 우수한 성적을 거두었다.

거창군은 사유림의 효율적인 경영과 산림사업의 상생 방안 마련을 위해 산림조합과 협력하여 조림 및 숲 가꾸기 사업의 일부 관리업무를 위탁하고 있다.
