[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 구인모 거창군수는 5일 내년도 예산안을 의회에 제출하며 제283회 거창군의회 제2차 정례회에서 시정연설을 통해 2025년도 군정 운영 방향을 밝혔다.
올해 거창군은 11월 말 기준, 33개 분야 5억 3,100만원의 대외수상과 38개 분야 1, 190억원 규모의 공모사업 성과를 거두어, 정부의 긴축재정 기조 속에서도 지역 현안·역점 및 공약사업 추진을 위한 원동력을 확보했다.
올해는 지난 민선 7기부터 시작한 다양한 인구정책의 결과로 경남 도내 군부 인구 1위를 달성하고 프랑스 파리 OECD 본부에서 인구대응 정책 우수사례를 발표·소개해 거창군의 인구정책의 우수성을 대외적으로 인정받았다.
거창적십자병원 이전·신축 사업 기재부 예비타당성조사 대상 사업 선정, 거창 화장시설 건립 부지 선정, 거창 시니어카운티 개원, 감악산 무장애나눔길 준공, 브로커 없는 외국인 계절근로자 유치, K-에스컬레이터 출범, 청년 도약금과 청소년 꿈키움바우처 확대 지원 등으로 민선 8기 주요 역점·현안 사업을 가시화했다.
이러한 성과를 바탕으로 2025년도 군정 운영 방향을 다음과 같이 제시했다.
인구·교육분야는 거창군 생활인구 100만명 달성 로드맵에 따른 실천계획 이행, 거창초 학교복합화사업과 교육발전특구 시범사업 본격 추진, 관내 출신 대학생 학자금 지원, 청년임대주택 건립 등 지속 가능한 명품 교육도시의 기반을 마련해 나갈 계획이다.
