올해 환경 가족에게 주어지는 장학금은 용인대 석혜진 학생 등 16명을 대상으로 1,400만 원 규모로 수여됐다. 환경 가족 장학금은 매년 환경과학기술인의 날을 맞이하여 학업 역량 및 의지가 우수한 초·중·고·대학생이 우리 사회의 선한 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 지역협회 및 내·외부 후원을 받아 우수 학생들에게 수여되고 있다.
