보문장애인자립생활센터(센터장 신인수)는 5일, 한 해를 마무리하는 ‘2024년 자립성과BoM 발표회’를 센터 대강당에서 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.
자립성과 발표회에는 내빈, 수상자, 유관기관 관계자 등 100여 명이 참석했으며, 신체적 어려움 등으로 인해 이동과 참석이 어려운 장애인 당사자 및 원거리 거주자들을 위해 행사 장면을 유튜브 라이브방송으로도 함께 송출했다. 비대면 행사 참여자는 약 400여 명 정도로 추산된다.
오전 11시부터 시작된 ‘2024년 자립성과BoM 발표회’는 ▲센터 이용인들의 축하공연 ▲신인수 센터장의 개회사 ▲대전광역시 박희조 동구청장과 시의회 부의장 황경아 의원의 축사 순으로 진행됐으며, 참석하지 못한 장철민 국회의원은 축전으로 참석을 갈음했다.

이어 먹거리와 즐길거리가 풍성한 리셉션 시간을 비롯해 '우수이용자, 장기근속 활동지원사(4년·8년), 최우수 활동지원사, 자립생활대상자와 최우수 직원'에게 상패 및 상품을 전달하는 등 감사의 마음을 전하는 자리도 마련됐다.
보문장애인자립활센터 신인수 센터장은 “2024년 한 해 동안 본 센터를 사랑해주시고 큰 관심을 기울여주신 우리 장애인 이용자분들, 활동지원사 선생님들, 지금 이곳에 계신 내빈분들 덕분에 더욱 특별한 한 해였고, 직원들의 노력에 진심으로 감사한다" 며, "내년 한해는 더욱더 기적을 만들어보겠다”고 전했다.
