[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군이 지난 5일과 9일 각각 개최된 제27회 전국한우능력평가대회와 제22회 전국축산물품질평가대상 시상식에서 거창군 한·육우 선도농가가 우수한 성과를 거뒀다고 밝혔다.
제27회 전국한우능력평가대회에서는 남상면에 소재해 있는 우리목장에서 출품한 개체가 축산물품질평가원장상을 수상하는 영예를 안았다.
우리목장에서 수상한 한우 개체는 출하월량 32개월, 도체중 650kg, 등심단면적 160㎠, 등지방두께 14㎜, 1++A 등급으로 경락가격 2,395만 1,850원을 기록하며 뛰어난 품질을 입증했다.
우리목장을 운영하는 이남권 대표는 두 아들과 함께 한우 600여 두를 사육하고 있으며 전국한우협회거창군지부장으로서 거창군 한우산업 발전을 위해 헌신하는 대표적인 한우 선도 농가이다.
9일 개최된 제22회 전국축산물품질평가대상에서는 가조면에 위치한 화곡농장이 육우 부문 최우수상을 수상했다.
화곡농장은 연간 실적 평가에서 평균 도체중 507.22kg, 육질 1등급 이상 출현율 58.33%를 기록하며 전국 평균을 크게 상회하는 우수한 성적을 나타냈다.
마석문 대표는 아들과 함께 육우 160여 두, 한우 320여 두를 사육하고 있으며 지속적인 출하 실적 향상으로 향후 더욱 기대되는 농가로 평가받고 있다.
구인모 군수는 “이번 전국대회에서 뛰어난 성적을 거둔 것을 진심으로 축하드리며 축산업이 어려운 시기에 거창군에 기쁜 소식을 안겨주어 감사드린다”고 전했다.
