지금 한국 사회는 내전 상태다. 총만 안 들었지 준(準) 전시 상태라고 볼 수 있다. 이 와중에 한국 보수는 마냥 울고불고 니편 내편 나누어 삿대질할 때가 아니라 아래와 같은 팩트 싸움이 필요하다. 경제이론엔 '기대의 자기 실현성'이 있다. 모두가 같은 기대를 하면 그 기대가 실현된다는 것이다.
지금 대통령이 탄핵 당하고 보수가 무너질거라고 모두가 같은 기대를 하면, 그렇게 되고 말 것이고, 지금 대통령이 탄핵 당하더라도 쉽게 무너지지 않을 것이라고, 모두가 같은 기대를 하면 그렇게 될 수 있는 것이다.
이재명과 더불어민주당 그리고 권력욕에 들뜬 언론들이 눈이 뒤집혀 선동에 나서는 이유다.
즉 그들은 국민들에게 대통령이 탄핵되고 보수가 끝장날 것이며, 이재명이 대통령이 될 수밖에 없으니 그렇게 행동계획을 세우라고, 해 뜨는 아침부터 해지는 저녁까지 선동에 선동을 거듭하는 것이다.
그에 대처하는 한국 보수는 지리멸렬하다. 공황장애를 보이는 중이다. 당황스러움에 대오가 흐트러져 세작들이 일부러 오버를 떨며, 혼비백산 아비규환 상황을 만드는 중이다.
냉철해져야 한다. 보수 진영 법조인들 나서서 팩트 싸움을 전개해야 한다. 비상계엄이 내란죄가 될 수 없고, 왜 탄핵사유가 될 수 없는지를 계속 주장해야 한다.
행태적 접근이다. 한국을 관찰해보면 느낀 건 한국인들은 이성적이지 않다. 생각하고 행동하는 게 아니라 행동하고 생각하는 것이다. 상당수가 그렇다. 옆 사람이 대통령을 욕하고 나서면 무조건 같이 욕하고 난 다음 생각해보는 것이다.
친구따라 강남간다는 말이 괜히 있는 게 아니다.
아무리 비상계엄이 약건 '오버'였다고 하더라도 국정공백과 정치적 대혼란이라는 크나 큰 사회적 비용을 초래하면서까지 탄핵을 해야 하는지, 이성적 접근이 필요하다.
그렇게 힘없는 계엄이. 명령을 내려도 듣지도 않는 군대가 그리고 사령관들이. 대통령 명령보다 좌파 유튜버들 말을 더 진지하게 듣는 그 장성들을 보고, 비상계엄에 무슨 위엄이 있고, 아가 국민들 누구에게 위협이 됐느냐는 것이다. 앞으로도 전혀 위협이 될 수 없다.
더우기 탄핵을 주장할 순 있다고 치자. 하지만 법원 재판을 앞두고 피선거권이 박탈할 위기에 있는 정치인들이 나서서 대통령 탄핵을 주도하는 건 더 황당하다. yslee1992@kunsan.ac.kr
