세종시 지역의 결연 청소년을 대상으로 반찬과 생필품 등을 제공하고, 문화 체험 활동을 지원해 준데 대한 감사패 전달식이 16일 있었다.
세종시교육청은 이날 오후에 시교육청 집무실에서 법무부 청소년 범죄예방 세종시지구 위원회에 감사패를 전달했다.
감사패 전달식에는 최교진 세종시교육감, 전영우 청소년 범죄예방 세종시지구 위원회 회장 등 관계자 8명이 참석했다.
법무부 청소년 범죄예방 세종시지구 위원회는 법무부 훈령 제1523호에 의거 조직된 민간 봉사단체며, 현재 100여 명의 위원이 활동 중이다.
법무부 청소년 범죄예방 세종시지구 위원회는 세종시 지역의 결연 청소년을 대상으로 반찬과 생필품 등을 제공하고, 문화 체험 활동을 지원하는 등 다양한 봉사 활동을 펼치고 있다.
또, 청소년 보호 순찰대를 구성하여 우범지역에서 도보 순찰과 홍보 활동(캠페인)을 전개하는 등 청소년들의 안전을 위해 힘쓰고 있다.
최교진 교육감은 ”청소년의 범죄 예방을 위해 헌신해주시는 청소년 범죄예방 세종시지구 위원회 관계자분들께 진심으로 감사드린다.”며 ”세종교육청도 아이들이 마음 놓고 행복한 내일을 꿈꿀 수 있도록 하겠다.”고 말했다.
