충남 금산군이 18일 '금산인삼주'의 글로벌 진출 소식을 알렸다.
군은 '제28차 세계한인경제인대회' 수출상담회를 통해 맺은 60만 달러 규모의 수출 계약분 중 10만 달러 상당의 물량이 1차 선적돼 왈츠의 고향 '오스트리아'로 향한다고 밝혔다.
박범인 군수는 지난 11월 초, 오스트리아 빈에서 개최된 한인경제인대회 개막식에서 국내외 3,000여 명의 주요 인사들과 바이어들에게 "금산인삼의 세계화를 통해 인류 건강을 증진하자"고 요청하며 금산인삼주 건배를 제안해 큰 호응을 얻은 바 있다.
금산군은 지난 2022년부터 금산인삼의 국제 현지화·상품화 전략을 추진 중으로, 유럽 소비기호와 현지 눈높이에 맞게 제품을 개선해 유럽진출에 박차를 가하고 있다.
박범인 군수는 "이번 수출은 해외시장 개척 활성화 및 관내 수출 기업 확대를 위한 민·관·연 협력 성과로 의미가 있다"고 말했다.
