계룡시, 시민과 함께 하는 '에너지 절약·물가 안정' 캠페인 진행

충남 계룡시는 지난 17일 엄사사거리에서 ‘에너지 절약 및 지역 물가 안정’을 위한 거리 캠페인을 진행했다고 18일 밝혔다.

시에 따르면 이번 캠페인은 최근 지속되는 추위로 최대 전력 수요가 발생되는 등 전력사용량이 급증하고 있고, 국내외 불안정한 정세에 따른 지속적인 에너지 비용 및 물가 상승으로 서민경제 어려움이 가중됨에 따라 연말 민생안정 및 에너지 절약 대책 추진에 시민의 적극 동참을 홍보하기 위해 추진되었다.

이날 캠페인에는 지역상인회와 시 관계자 등 20여 명이 동참했다. 참여자들은 에너지 절약과 물가 안정 홍보를 위한 물품을 배부하며, 시민들의 적극적인 참여 및 협조를 당부했다.

시 관계자는 “시에서도 정부의 겨울철 전력수급 대책기간(2024년 12월 부터 2025년 3월까지) 동안 공공기관의 합리적인 에너지 이용을 위한 겨울철 에너지이용 합리화 추진계획을 수립하고 '적정 실내온도 준수(20℃이하)', '불필요한 조명 소등', '에너지지킴이 운영', '피크전력 사용량 모니터링 및 대응' 등을 실천하겠다”고 말했다.
