[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 올해 정부 및 경남도 공모사업에 50개 사업이 선정되어 국·도비 등 842억원을 포함한 총사업비 1,232억원을 확보해 역대 최대 공모 선정 성과를 거뒀다.
군은 완성도 높은 계획 수립과 전략적인 공모 대응을 통해 선정율 80.6%를 달성하고 정부 긴축재정으로 인한 교부세 감소, 대형 공공사업 추진에 따른 군비 부담 해소를 위해 공모를 통한 국도비 확보에 총력을 다했다.
군은 연초에 선택과 집중 공모사업 대응계획 수립하고 매월 추진 상황 점검 및 분석, 부군수 주재 추진 상황 보고회 등을 개최했으며 군비 재원 부담이 많은 공모에 대해서는 신중하게 검토해 대응했다.
특히 △거창초 학교복합시설 건립 △재해위험지역 정비사업 △우리동네 살리기 사업 △공공형 계절근로자 사업 △지역대표 공연예술제 지원사업 등 교육, 농업 등 지역 특화사업 육성과 지역개발 사업 선정을 통해 지방소멸 대응을 위한 정주여건 개선에 탄력을 받게 됐다.
사업비 규모별로는 △자연재해위험지구 정비 403억 △학교복합시설건립 299억 △우리동네살리기 사업 84억 순이며 분야별로는 △문화·관광분야 15건 △농업분야 10건 △국토·지역개발분야 8건 순이다.
한편 군은 공모를 통해 2022년부터 3년간 148건 총사업비 3,367억원을 확보해 군비 부담 30% 내외로 규모 있는 사업 추진과 인구 감소와 지방소멸 대응을 위한 지역 수요 맞춤형, 지속 가능한 중장기 먹거리 사업을 추진하고 있다.
