[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시와 인제대, (사)한국도시설계학회는 27일 롯데호텔앤리조트 김해에서 ‘2024 김해 동북아 물류플랫폼 정책세미나’를 성황리에 개최했다.
지난 2022년부터 네 번째로 개최된 이번 세미나는 김해시 핵심사업인 동북아 물류플랫폼 유치를 위해 사업 구체화 방향 제시, 사업 추진 전략 마련, 한국도시설계학회 전문가들과의 긴밀한 협업체계 구축 등으로 김해시가 최적의 입지임을 다시 한번 각인시켰다.
또 부·울·경 초광역권 경제공동체 중심도시, 트라이포트 글로벌 물류거점 도시, 지방 성공시대를 향한 준비된 도시임을 널리 알렸다.
‘동북아 물류 허브: 김해 동북아 물류플랫폼 발전 방향’이라는 대주제로 진행된 세미나는 3명의 전문가 세션과 7인의 종합토론으로 이어졌으며 유튜브 생중계로 홍보의 폭을 넓혔다.
첫 발제자로 나선 동국대 한광야 교수는 글로컬대학 올시티 캠퍼스 추진을 키워드로 김해시가 대학과 도시를 바탕으로 동북아 물류플랫폼 유치와 함께 나아가야 할 발전 방향에 대해 발제했다.
경남테크노파크 김승철 정책기획단장은 부산신항, 진해신항, 가덕도 신공항과 연계, 동북아 물류 중심도시 도약을 위한 첨단 항만물류산업 육성 방향에 대해 발제했다.
마지막 발제자인 싸이트플래닝 한영숙 대표는 ‘동북아 물류플랫폼: 미래 김해시의 랜드마크’라는 주제로 인천 송도, 스웨덴 말뫼 등 선도 도시의 사례를 소개했다. 이어 김해시 기존 자원 활용과 동북아 물류중심도시의 신규 건축물·공간·환경 조성 등 전략적 개발사업으로 김해시 랜드마크 조성 방향을 제시했다.
김해시는 동북아 물류플랫폼 조성을 위해 올 한해 경남, 부산, 김해 지자체 간 거버넌스를 구축해 지역전략사업으로 추진했으며 사업의 구체화를 위해 타당성 검토와 기본계획을 수립 중이다.
박태원 한국도시설계학회장은 축사에서 “김해시는 지방 중소도시의 경쟁력 있는 미래 신사업 모델과 국토 균형 발전의 선도적 모델을 만들어낼 수 있을 것으로 확신한다”고 말했다.
홍태용 시장은 “좋은 제안들이 많이 나왔다. 국내 최고 도시?건축 전문가 그룹인 한국도시설계학회, 인제대와 긴밀한 소통으로 동북아 물류플랫폼 유치와 김해시 도시발전전략 수립에 큰 도움이 됐다”며 “올해 특별법 발의와 국토부 용역 결과가 부산·김해 동북아 물류플랫폼의 실현 가능성을 더 높이는 결과를 만들었으며 이러한 성과들로 국토균형발전과 지방소멸 위기를 극복하는 결과를 만들겠다”고 말했다.

Gimhae City, Inje University, and Korea Urban Design Association successfully held the '2024 Gimhae Northeast Asia Logistics Platform Policy Seminar' at Lotte Hotel & Resort Gimhae on the 27th.
This seminar, held for the fourth time since 2022, once again demonstrated that Gimhae City is the optimal location for attracting the Northeast Asia Logistics Platform, a key project of Gimhae City, by presenting specific directions for the project, establishing a strategy for project promotion, and establishing a close collaboration system with experts from the Korea Urban Design Association.

The last presenter, CEO Han Young-sook of Site Planning, introduced the cases of leading cities such as Songdo, Incheon and Malmo, Sweden, under the theme of ‘Northeast Asia Logistics Platform: Landmark of the Future Gimhae City’. Next, he presented the direction of creating a landmark for Gimhae City as a strategic development project, including utilizing existing resources in Gimhae City and creating new buildings, spaces, and environments for a logistics hub city in Northeast Asia.
Gimhae City has established governance among the local governments of Gyeongnam, Busan, and Gimhae this year to create a logistics platform in Northeast Asia and is currently conducting a feasibility study and establishing a basic plan to concretize the project.
