거창군, 행안부 지방세외수입 운영 평가 ‘우수’ 선정

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군이 행정안전부가 주관한 ‘2024년 지방세외수입 운영 실적 분석·진단평가’에서 ‘우수’ 지자체로 선정됐다.

이 평가는 지방세외수입 징수율 제고와 수입 확충 노력을 지원하기 위해 2015년부터 매년 시행되고 있다.

행정안전부는 전국 243개 광역·기초 자치단체를 인구와 재정 규모에 따라 14개 그룹으로 유형화한 후, 정량평가와 정성평가를 통해 26개 우수 지방자치단체를 선정하고 있다.

거창군은 세외수입 징수율과 체납관리 노력도 등 9개 지표의 정량평가와 정성평가를 합산한 종합점수에서 우수한 성적을 기록했다.

이로써 군은 지난해에 이어 올해도 ‘우수’ 기관으로 선정되는 영예를 안았으며 기관 표창과 함께 교부세 3,000만원을 확보했다.

구인모 군수는 “지방세외수입은 지방세와 더불어 지방재정의 중요한 비중을 차지하는 만큼 안정적인 재원확보를 위해 앞으로도 적극적으로 관리 운영해 자주재원 확보에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
