한남대학교는 창업지원단 육성기업인 ㈜필상(강필상 대표, 이하 필상)이 인공지능을 활용한 불법피싱 차단 서비스 ‘싹다잡아‘ 아이템으로 딥테크 팁스(Deep-Tech TIPS) 및 디딤돌 글로벌 R&D 프로그램에 선정됐다고 2일 밝혔다.
딥테크 팁스는 중소벤처기업부가 지원하는 '초격차 스타트업 1천+' 프로젝트의 일환으로 기술력이 우수한 스타트업을 선정해 3년간 최대 17억 원의 연구개발 및 해외 마케팅 자금을 지원하는 대형 프로젝트다.
아울러 디딤돌 글로벌 R&D도 중기부에서 운영하는 창업성장기술개발사업 중 하나로 중소기업의 혁신적 기술개발을 촉진하고 글로벌 시장에서의 경쟁력 강화를 위해 1년 동안 1.2억원 기술개발자금을 지원한다.
이번 선정으로 필상은 인력 확보 및 기술 고도화를 위한 자금을 확보하게 됐으며, 기술개발을 강화해 국내 시장과 동시에 해외 시장 진출을 진행할 예정이다.
필상은 AI, 사이버보안, 핀테크의 융합 기술을 기반으로 모바일 보안 솔루션과 악성 URL 탐지 기술을 2021년부터 개발해 온 선도 기업으로 산업통산자원부를 통한 '첨단기술·제품 확인서'와 더불어 국제공인시험 검증을 받으며 기술력을 인정받았다.
2022년 한남대 초기창업패키지에 선정돼 사업화 자금 지원, 시장조사 및 투자유치, 특허 출원 프로그램 지원을 통해 성장 기틀을 마련해 왔으며, 대덕연구개발특구 입주기업으로서 ‘24년 상반기에는 과기부의 ‘전략기술 연구 성과 사업화 지원’과 금융위 산하 한국핀테크지원센터의 ‘디지털 금융기술 내재화’ 사업에 선정된 바 있다.
한편 스미싱, 큐싱 등 피싱 차단 앱 ‘싹다잡아’는 현재 30만 다운로드를 통해 일 평균 50만 건의 데이터를 전 세계 모바일 장치에서 실시간으로 수집하고 그중 하루 10만 건 이상의 악성 URL을 탐지하며 글로벌에서 안전한 사이버 환경을 조성하며 인지도를 쌓고 있다.
