[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 경상남도선거관리위원회는 오는 3월 5일 치러지는 제1회 전국동시새마을금고이사장선거와 4월 2일 치러지는 상반기 재·보궐선거를 앞두고 설 명절 전후 위법행위 예방·단속활동을 강화한다고 15일 밝혔다.
경남선관위는 금고 이사장선거 및 재·보궐선거가 다가옴에 따라 입후보예정자 등이 인지도를 높이고 지지기반을 확대하기 위해 명절 인사 명목으로 금품을 제공하거나 사전선거운동을 하는 등 위법행위가 발생할 수 있다고 보고, 도내 구·시·군 선관위에 특별 예방·단속을 지시했다.
