거창군, ‘구내식당 외식하는 날’ 확대 운영

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 경기침체로 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역경제를 활성화하고 소비 회복을 도보하기 위해 월 2회 운영하던 ‘구내식당 외식하는 날’을 매주 1회로 확대 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 확대 운영은 지속적인 경기침체와 소비 심리 위축 속에서 거창군 공무원이 지역 상권에 실질적인 도움을 제공하기 위해 추진됐다.

구인모 군수는 “지역경제 활성화에 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 외식하는 날을 확대 운영하게 됐다”며 “얼어붙은 소비 심리를 살리기 위해 각 기관, 단체 등에서도 외식하는 날 운영에 동참해 주기를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

거창군 공무원은 앞서 코로나19 팬데믹을 비롯해 지역경제가 어려울 때마다 ‘구내식당 외식하는 날’ 확대 운영을 통해 지역 상권 살리기에 앞장서 왔다.
