골프존문화재단(이사장 김영찬)은 올해도 경제적 어려움을 겪는 지역사회 소외계층을 위해 연간 1억 8천만 원 상당의 물품을 후원하는 ‘골프존 이웃사랑 행복나눔’ 프로그램을 이어간다.
올해로 5년째를 맞는 이 프로그램은 독거노인, 조손가정 등 도움이 필요한 이웃에게 필요한 물품을 지원하는 사회공헌 활동으로, 2021년부터 매년 진행되고 있다.
지난 17일, 충청북도 진천군에서 올해 첫 번째 후원식이 열렸으며, 박영준 골프존문화재단 팀장, 권준기 골프존카운티 사업부장, 송기섭 진천군수 등 관계자들이 참석했다. 이날 250세대를 위한 1천만 원 상당의 생필품 키트가 전달되었다.
특히 이번 후원은 수혜자 의견을 반영하여 샴푸, 로션, 세탁세제, 칫솔 등 생활용품으로 구성된 점이 주목받고 있다. 이는 단순한 지원을 넘어 수혜자에 대한 깊은 이해를 바탕으로 실질적인 도움이 되는 지원을 제공하기 위한 노력이다.
김영찬 이사장은 “새해를 맞아 희망찬 도약을 다짐한 이웃을 위해 생필품 키트를 준비했다”며, “앞으로도 소외계층을 위한 지속적인 사회공헌 활동을 통해 지역사회와의 상생과 나눔 문화 확산에 앞장설 것”이라고 밝혔다.
골프존문화재단은 2010년 설립 이후 나눔과 배려의 경영 철학을 바탕으로 국내 문화·예술 분야 및 사회 소외계층 후원사업을 진행하고 있다. ‘골프존 이웃사랑 행복나눔’은 골프존문화재단이 주최하고 각 지역의 시·군청 및 자원봉사센터가 공동 주관한다.
GOLFZONE Cultural Foundation Sponsors 'Sharing Neighborly Love and Happiness'
Golf Zone Cultural Foundation (Chairman Kim Young-chan) will continue its 'Golf Zone Neighborly Love and Happiness Sharing' program this year, which donates KRW 180 million worth of goods annually to underprivileged communities experiencing economic difficulties.
The program, now in its fifth year, is a social contribution activity that provides necessary items to neighbors in need, such as the elderly living alone and grandparents, and has been held annually since 2021.
On the 17th of this month, the first donation ceremony was held in Jincheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, and was attended by Park Young-joon, head of GOLFZONE Cultural Foundation, Kwon Joon-ki, head of GOLFZONE County Business, and Song Ki-seop, mayor of Jincheon-gun. On this day, daily necessities kits worth KRW 10 million for 250 households were delivered.
In particular, this sponsorship is noteworthy because it consists of daily necessities such as shampoo, lotion, laundry detergent, and toothbrushes, reflecting the opinions of the beneficiaries. This is an effort to go beyond simple support and provide practical assistance based on a deep understanding of the beneficiaries.
“We prepared daily necessities kits for our neighbors who have vowed to make a hopeful leap in the new year,” said Kim Young-chan, Chairman of the Board of Directors. ”We will continue to lead the way in spreading a culture of coexistence and sharing with the local community through continuous social contribution activities for the underprivileged.”
Since its establishment in 2010, GOLFZONE Cultural Foundation has been supporting domestic cultural and artistic fields and the underprivileged in society based on the management philosophy of sharing and caring. 'Golf Zone Neighborly Love and Happiness Sharing' is hosted by Golf Zone Cultural Foundation and co-organized by local city and county governments and volunteer centers.
