충남 태안군이 지역 노년층의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 인공지능(AI)과 사물인터넷(IoT)을 활용한 건강관리 사업에 나선다.
태안군보건의료원은 만성질환 관리가 필요한 만 65세 이상 군민 300명을 대상으로 비대면 건강관리 서비스인 ‘AI-IoT 기반 어르신 건강관리 사업’을 시행할 예정이다. 신청은 2월 3일부터 선착순으로 접수된다.
이번 사업은 노년층의 건강행태 개선 및 만성질환 관리를 목표로 하며, 병원 방문 없이도 편리하게 건강관리 서비스를 받을 수 있는 장점을 갖고 있다.
특히 태안은 지리적으로 남북으로 길게 뻗어 있어 서비스 접근성이 떨어지는 노년층이 많아, 이 사업의 활용도가 높을 것으로 기대된다.
