충남 계룡시가 ‘2024년 지역사회 건강조사’ 결과에서 전국 최상위권의 건강 지표를 기록했다고 4일 밝혔다.
이번 조사는 지난해 5월부터 7월까지 만 19세 이상 계룡시민 890명을 대상으로 흡연, 음주, 비만, 신체활동, 정신건강, 식생활, 예방접종 등 17개 항목에 걸쳐 진행됐다. 조사 결과 계룡시는 주요 건강행태 부문에서 전국 평균보다 우수한 성과를 거둔 것으로 나타났다.
특히 ▲흡연율 10.3% ▲칫솔질 실천율 80.6% ▲우울감 경험률 2.2% ▲뒷좌석 안전벨트 착용률 33.8% 등의 지표에서 긍정적인 결과를 보였다.
또한 만성질환 관리 및 의료이용 부문에서도 ▲혈압 수치 인지율 68.9% ▲혈당 수치 인지율 37.5% ▲뇌졸중 조기 증상 인지율 69.3% ▲심근경색증 조기 증상 인지율 55.6%를 기록하며, 지난해에 이어 올해도 전국에서 가장 높은 수준을 유지했다.
계룡시 보건소 관계자는 “시민들의 건강에 대한 높은 관심과 적극적인 참여 덕분에 우수한 성과를 거둘 수 있었다”며 “이번 조사 결과를 바탕으로 시민 건강 증진을 위한 다양한 정책을 마련하고 추진해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
