최교진 세종시교육감은 5일 “새 학년을 준비하는 선생님들이 업무계획을 세우는 일에 집중할 수 있도록, 학교가 나서 신속히 협의하고 지원해 달라.”고 당부했다.
최 교육감은 이날 시교육청 대강단에서 열린 2월 소통ㆍ공감의 날에 참석해 차질없는 새 학년 준비를 강조하며 이같이 말했다.
개교를 앞둔 신설학교 마무리 공사 안전에도 언급했다. 최 교육감은 “3월에 문을 여는 산울초중학교, 세종캠퍼스고의 마무리 공사 점검을 해달라"며 "새로 설치되는 주요 시설 장비의 안전한 운영에도 만전을 기해달라.”고 강조했다.
이어, “방학 중에 학생들 성장을 지원하는 프로그램 운영과 중식 지원 등이 학습지원 대상자에게 효과를 거두었는지 살필 필요가 있다.”고도 말했다.
본청 직원과 직속 기관 직원들을 대상으로 진행된 이날 행사는 ▲여는공연 ▲모범공무원 및 4분기 국민신문고 민원처리 우수 부서 및 우수자 시상 ▲교육감 당부 말씀 ▲명사 특강 순으로 진행됐다.
무대공연으로는 시교육청 교직원으로 구성된 세종교직원 합창단 ‘더울림’이 선보여 뜨거운 반응을 받았다.
세종교직원합창단‘더울림’은 2023년 봄에 창단해 정기공연 및 교육청 행사의 각종 초청 공연 등을 가졌으며, 현재 30여 명의 단원들이 다양한 활동을 펼치고 있다.
