국가인권위원회(위원장 안창호)가 10일 '윤석열 대통령 탄핵심판 방어권 보장 권고' 등을 골자로 하는 안건을 가결했다.
국가인권위는 이날 저녁 제2차 전원위원회에 상정된 '계엄 선포로 야기된 국가적 위기 극복 대책 권고의 건'을 일부 수정해 의결했고, '대통령 헌정질서 파괴 비상계엄 직권조사' 안건은 부결됐다.
해당 안건은 지난달 김용원 상임위원 등이 발의한 것으로 윤 대통령 포함 내란죄 피의자들 구속 자제·야당의 정부 인사 탄핵 추진 자제 등을 권고하는 내용을 담고 있다.
또 이날 전원위에 재상정된 '대통령의 헌정 질서 파괴 비상계엄 선포에 대한 인권위 직권조사 및 의견 표명의 건'은 표결을 거치지 않은 채 부결됐다.
한편 이날 전원위에 앞서 국민의힘 조배숙·박충권·조지연·더불어민주당 고민정·서미화·조국혁신당 신장식 의원 등 여야 의원들은 찬반 입장 전달을 위해 안 위원장을 접견했다.
