박정현 부여군수가 주민 건의사항 해결을 위해 직접 현장 점검에 나섰다.
부여군은 지난 11일 박 군수가 임천면을 방문해 수해복구가 필요한 공공시설을 점검하고, 빠른 시일 내에 예산을 확보해 복구를 추진할 것을 지시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 현장 점검은 ‘찾아가는 동행콘서트’에서 임천면 주민이 수해 피해를 입은 공공시설 중 일부가 복구 대상에서 누락됐다며 조치를 요청한 데 따른 것이다.
박 군수는 이강복 임천면 이장단 회장을 비롯해 가신리, 점리 등 해당 마을 이장들과 함께 피해 규모가 큰 7개소를 방문해 복구 필요성을 확인했다. 점검 결과, 대부분의 지역에서 배수를 위한 수로관 교체·설치, 하천 둑 보수, 옹벽 설치 등이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.
박 군수는 “기후변화로 인해 단시간 내 폭우가 쏟아지는 사례가 빈번해질 것으로 예상된다”며 “앞으로도 군민의 생명과 재산을 보호하기 위해 수해복구를 철저히 추진하겠다”고 강조했다.
부여군은 이번 점검을 통해 파악된 추가 수해복구 대상지에 대해 신속한 예산 확보 및 복구 계획을 수립해 조속히 복구를 완료할 방침이다.
