이응우 계룡시장이 시의 주요 현안 사업 추진을 위해 충남도의 적극적인 지원을 요청했다. 12일 충남도청을 방문한 이 시장은 김태흠 충남도지사와 만나 계룡시의 핵심 사업을 설명하며 협조를 당부했다.
이 시장은 국방과 산업 발전을 위한 주요 사업으로 국립군사(미래)박물관 건립 ,지능형센서 시험인증기관 설치 ,국방신속획득기술연구원 이전 ,계룡군수산업 전시회 개최 등을 건의했다. 특히 국립군사(미래)박물관 건립을 통해 국군의 역사와 미래 비전을 조명하고, 대한민국 방위산업의 발전상을 홍보할 수 있는 거점 도시로 성장하겠다는 의지를 밝혔다.
