금산군의회, 주민조례청구제도 활성화 나선다

충남 금산군의회(의장 김기윤)가 주민이 직접 조례를 제·개정하거나 폐지를 요청할 수 있는 ‘주민조례청구제도’ 활성화를 위해 적극적인 홍보에 나선다.

이 제도는 일정 수 이상의 주민이 서명해 조례를 제정하거나 개정·폐지를 청구할 수 있도록 하는 주민 참여 정책이다. 주민의 목소리를 정책에 반영하는 직접 민주주의 수단으로, 지방자치의 실질적인 강화를 목표로 한다.
