최재구 예산군수가 군민과의 직접 소통을 강화하기 위해 진행한 ‘을사년 새해맞이 연두 방문’이 큰 호응 속에서 성공적으로 마무리됐다.
이번 연두 방문은 지난 5일부터 13일까지 6일간 진행되었으며, 군민과의 대화에 집중하기 위해 기관 방문을 최소화하고 현장 방문을 생략하는 방식으로 운영됐다.
이번 방문에서는 2025년 읍면별 주요 사업 계획과 민선 8기 군정 운영 과정에서 주민들이 제안한 건의 사항의 추진 현황을 상세히 설명해 주민들의 이해도를 높였다. 이를 통해 지역 발전에 대한 군민들의 관심과 참여를 더욱 이끌어냈다는 평가를 받았다.
군에 따르면 이번 연두 방문을 통해 접수된 건의 사항은 총 289건으로, 읍면별로는 ▲예산읍 31건 ▲삽교읍 27건 ▲대술면 24건 ▲신양면 21건 ▲광시면 34건 ▲대흥면 31건 ▲응봉면 11건 ▲덕산면 24건 ▲봉산면 22건 ▲고덕면 18건 ▲신암면 22건 ▲오가면 24건 등이다.
예산군은 주민 안전과 직결된 사안에 대해서는 즉각 현장을 방문해 신속한 해결 방안을 마련하고, 기타 건의 사항은 체계적으로 관리할 수 있도록 카드화하여 지속적인 점검과 추진에 나설 계획이다.
최재구 군수는 “군민 여러분의 목소리를 하나하나 소중히 듣고 이를 바탕으로 더 나은 예산군을 만들어 나가겠다”며 “앞으로도 군민과의 소통과 공감을 최우선으로 하여 ‘새로운 내일, 하나 된 예산’을 만들어 가기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
