중견언론인들의 친목모임인 한국전문언론인협회(회장/김동성)는 2월 12일자 보도자료에서 가수 설운도 씨를 ‘2025대한민국전문리더’(연예부문)로 선정했다고 밝혔다.
보도자료에 따르면 “가수 설운도 씨는 공전의 히트를 기록한 <잃어버린 30년>을 비롯해 수많은 히트곡으로 우리대중문화 발전에 크게 기여했으며, 특히 뛰어난 작곡 실력으로 가요계 발전에 이바지했다”고 말했다. 설운도 가수는 1983년 이산가족찾기 생방송에서 <잃어버린 30년>을 불러 전 국민의 심금을 울렸으며, 발표 후 최단기간 히트곡으로 기네스 세계 기록에 올랐다.
