[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군 구인모 군수가 지난 6일부터 17일까지 12개 읍면을 방문해 군정 성과와 운영 방향을 설명하고 군민의 목소리를 현장에서 청취하는 소통의 시간을 가졌다.

이번 소통의 자리는 지역별 특성을 살린 발전 방향 설정을 위해 마을이장, 주요 기관·단체장, 주민자치회 위원 등 많은 주민들이 참석한 가운데, 6일 가북면을 시작으로 17일 위천면까지 방문하는 일정으로 성황리에 행사를 마쳤다.

2024년 군정 주요성과 보고에서는 △적십자병원 이전 예비타당성 조사 대상 선정 △거창 화장시설 천상공원 부지 선정과 건립 추진 박차 △동서남북 관광벨트 완성으로 관광인프라 구축 △다목적체육관 준공, 제2스포츠타운 조성 등 모두가 참여하는 스포츠 복지 실현 △공공형 계절근로자 제도 운영과 농업근로자 기숙사 건립 등 군정 핵심 성과를 공유하고 민선8기 주요사업장을 기록한 영상을 보여줌으로써 참석자들이 거창의 발전된 모습을 한눈에 볼 수 있는 좋은 기회가 됐다.

구인모 군수는 “작년 한 해는 군민의 많은 관심과 성원 덕분에 군정이 안정적으로 운영됐고 인구 또한 도내 군부 1위로 우뚝 설 수 있었다”며 군민에게 감사의 뜻을 전하고 “올해는 거창형 행정의료타운 부지조성 공사, 김천리 자연재해위험개선지구 거창1교 재가설, 화장시설 천상공원 건립 등을 차질 없이 추진하고 주민들이 건의한 사항들은 군정에 적극 반영될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
