충남 공주시의회가 24일부터 3월 7일까지 12일간의 일정으로 제257회 임시회를 개회했다.
이번 임시회에서는 조례안 심의를 비롯해 2025년도 상반기 시정 업무보고 청취, 2024회계연도 결산검사위원 선임 등의 안건을 처리할 예정이다.
첫날인 24일 열린 제1차 본회의에서는 송영월 의원이 ‘공주알밤박물관 건립의 필요성과 방향성’을 주제로, 권경운 의원이 ‘겨울공주 군밤축제의 성공을 넘어, 2028 국제 밤산업 박람회로!’를 주제로 5분 발언을 진행하며 지역 발전과 축제 활성화 방안을 제안했다.
이번 임시회의 주요 일정으로는 ▲25일 산업건설위원회 ▲26~28일 시정 업무보고 청취 ▲3월 4일 의회운영위원회 ▲3월 5일 행정복지위원회 ▲3월 6일 행정사무감사특별위원회 ▲3월 7일 제5차 본회의 및 폐회 등이 계획되어 있다.
임달희 공주시의회 의장은 “업무계획을 철저히 검토해 실효성 있는 정책이 추진될 수 있도록 심도 있는 논의를 진행하겠다”며, “2025년이 공주시 변화와 도약의 해가 될 수 있도록 시민들의 목소리를 귀담아듣고 신뢰받는 의정활동을 펼쳐 나가겠다”고 강조했다.
